Terms & Conditions

 

Only those who are aged 18 or over should sign up for the classes and newsletters, e.g. parents or guardians signing up on behalf of their children. If someone signs up to any of the services and products on this site, it is presumed that they are aged 18 or over. 
 

By signing up your child to their first online session or purchasing any resources, it will be regarded that you accept these terms and conditions.

The student must agree to participate in lessons to the best of their ability utilising the chat, microphone and webcam features (unless otherwise agreed). The student must ensure they have access to the lesson materials. 

​

I will ensure that I will work with your child to assure they reach their full potential. I will do all the lesson preparation beforehand and deliver lessons in a way to meet their learning needs. 

​

I will not take any responsibility if they do not meet their expected final exam grades. 

​

Student names and pictures will be kept confidential when used for marketing purposes for social media.

​

Students are not permitted to record any aspect of the sessions. 

 

 

Payments for Group Sessions

All group lessons will take place on Google Meet and are billed on a monthly subscription. Resources will be provided and are fully accessible until July 2027.

 

Science Success Tutoress is a weekly online group tuition programme running from:
- September 2025 to June 2026 for Year 11. 
- September 2025 to July 2026 for Year 10.

- September 2025 to July 2026 for Year 9. 

- September 2025 to July 2026 for Year 8. 

Lesson time length will be 1 hour. 

 

The monthly subscription will be taken out by the third (3rd) of every month and this will confirm your child’s allocated weekly lessons for that month. 

 

Refunds will not be given. If you are free to cancel your subscription whenever you wish, you just need to notify me at two weeks before.

Group Sessions Tuition Calendar

 

Most lessons run during the school term time on Monday or Tuesday evenings. 
- Year 8 group tuition will run 4.15pm until 5.15pm on Mondays. 
- Year 9 group tuition will run 5.30pm until 6.30pm on Mondays. 
- Year 11 group tuition will run from 5pm until 6pm on Tuesdays.
- Year 10 group tuition will run from 6.15pm until 7.15pm on Tuesdays.

 

 

Payments for Masterclasses

All Masterclasses will take place on Google Meet and are priced at £35. Resources will be provided and are fully accessible until June 2027.

 

Lesson time length will be 1 hour. 

 

Payment must be made on the website in full before any lessons take place. 

 

Refunds will not be given.

 

 

Payments for One to One Sessions

 

All one to one sessions will take place on Google Meet and are priced at £45. Resources will be provided and are fully accessible until July 2027.

 

Lesson time length will be 1 hour. 

 

A monthly invoice will be sent out by the first weekend of every month (this will be sent as soon as booking has been confirmed) with your child’s allocated weekly lessons stated for that month. 

 

The invoice must be paid in full before any lessons take place. 

 

Refunds will not be given. If you wish to terminate your contract, then you must notify me two weeks before.

 

Contracts can be terminated by the end of the month, so no new invoices are sent out.

Payments for Resources

 

All resources are in digital format - there are no physical copies and will be sent by email once paid for. The resources are intended only for the customer who has purchased them. 

 

Payment must be made on the website in full before any resources can be sent.
 

Refunds will not be given. 

 

Accuracy of Notes and Materials

 

I endeavour to ensure that all resources provided are accurate, up-to-date, and free from errors. However, despite my best efforts, there may be occasional errors. 

 

By using this service, you acknowledge that any reliance on the provided resources is at your own risk. I encourage students and parents to verify information and seek clarification when necessary. If any errors are discovered, I appreciate being notified so that corrections can be made promptly. You can contact me via the contact me page. 

 

Internet Connection

On very rare occasions, there may be unexpected interruptions to the internet connection that are beyond my control (such as power surges) that could affect the online sessions. If this did ever occur, I will ensure I will get connected as soon as possible or reschedule the session. 

 

Cancellations

 

If, for any reason I have to cancel a session than I will give as much notice as possible.  If I am able to, I will also offer an alternative session. If this is not possible, then a full refund for the session will be given.

 

I reserve the right to automatically terminate your contract for any unacceptable behaviour by you or your child.
